Be SunSmart this summer.
SACA is joining with Cancer Council SA to encourage South Aussies to slip, slop, slap, seek and slide this summer.
Overexposure to UV radiation from the sun can damage your skin’s DNA, which can lead to skin cancer. That’s why this summer it’s so important to slip, slop, slap, seek and slide whenever the UV is 3 and above—whether it’s heading to Adelaide Oval to watch the Strikers, cheering on the kids at their local cricket game or heading to the beach with family and friends—we all need to be SunSmart.
For more information about how to protect your skin and enjoy summer safely visit www.cancersa.org.au/dont-let-the-sun-see-your-dna.
To support you, your family and your cricket club, you can access a range of downloadable resources to help you be SunSmart and enjoy summer safely.
