The Association’s role has evolved from historically organising club cricket to managing, promoting and developing the game of cricket in South Australia.
Established in 1871, SACA has continued to evolve from its original role of coordinating local club cricket. The Association now manages, promotes and develops the game of cricket in South Australia and assists with the coordination of interstate and international cricket. It is a multi-million dollar business employing more than 70 full-time staff involved in cricket coaching and development programs, High Performance cricket and commercial and marketing opportunities at domestic level.
SACA is supported by a strong membership base of almost 27,000 financial members and an elected Board who govern the activities of SACA. Members enjoy the opportunity to be a part of a longstanding and prestigious sporting association and gain entry to the members’ enclosure for all cricket fixtures, including Test matches, One Day Internationals and interstate cricket.
