Cameron Valente had an outstanding debut One-Day cup campaign, finishing as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker while also scoring a century against Victoria.
Quoted saying he has worked tightly with Jamie Siddons to improve his skillset as an allrounder, Valente surprised opponents with his change-ups and use of the slower ball.
He also impressed with Adelaide Cricket Club, scoring consecutive centuries in rounds 11 and 12 and ending the season on a staggering average of 82 - cementing himself as a genuine allrounder and star for the future.
