Individual wickets to Ashleigh Gardner and 18-year-old high school student Ellie Falconer saw the Roar complete their 20 overs on 4/138.
In reply, the Scorpions were off to a shaky start, losing openers Tabatha Saville and Samantha Betts for 4 and 0 respectively.
South Australia’s innings was quickly salvaged by Tahlia McGrath (41 off 33 balls) and Perry, who top-scored for the match.
Perry and Gardner brought up the required total in the 17th over, giving the Scorpions two from two in trial matches this week.
The Scorpions will play one more pre-season trial match against Tasmania on Saturday, before returning to Adelaide on Sunday.
Gardner and McGrath will stay in Brisbane for two weeks as part of the National Performance Squad, with Amanda Wellington joining them for the first week and Shelley Nitschke assisting in a coaching role.
