The Bushrangers reached stumps on day four at 6-254 in a match the Redbacks must win to take the Shield from the reigning champions.
Alex Carey became the record-holder for most dismissals in a Sheffield Shield series with 59 - surpassing Wade Seccombe's 58 - when he nestled an outswinging Worrall delivery to dismiss nightwatchman Chris Tremain.

Finch was the mainstay of the Bushrangers innings, scoring 83 off 149 balls on an increasingly challenging pitch.
The Australia one-day international batsman received the benefit of the doubt with several tight LBW decisions, but his luck ran out just before tea.
Finch was bamboozled around his legs by the part-time leg spin of opener Jake Weatherald, who was bowling his first over in senior cricket after 14 first-class matches.
All-rounder Christian was 53 not out at the close of play, alongside Seb Gotch, who was 29.
The pair came together following the dismissal of Finch and have put on 71 unbeaten runs for the seventh wicket.
The Bushrangers began the day at 2-38, and were 4-124 by lunch, with captain Cameron White bowled by Joe Mennie for 4 following the resumption.
