The tourists will play a four-day, day-night game against a Cricket Australia XI from 8 November, less than a month before they return to Adelaide for the second Test from 2 December.
England will also visit Perth and Townsville as part of their preparations ahead of this summer’s blockbuster Men’s Ashes Series.
They are expected to arrive in Perth at the start of November, and will take on a Western Australia XI in a two-day red ball match at the WACA from 4 November.
Townsville’s Tony Ireland Stadium will host England in a second four-day match from 15 November, again taking on a CA XI, ahead of the first Test at the Gabba starting on 23 November.
England will play five tour matches in total – three ahead of the first Test, one between the second and third Tests and a one-day tour match in Sydney ahead of the One Day International series in early 2018.
England will also have a one-day warm-up match in Sydney, ahead of this summer’s One Day International series.
