School Visit Program

The SACA School Visit Program consists of six weeks of scheduled school visits across both metropolitan and regional South Australia.

The purpose of these visits is primarily to educate kids and parents about the various junior participation programs available to them and where they can get involved with cricket within their local community.

School visits can vary from class room visits, school assemblies, practical clinics and sometimes even special appearances from players and the Adelaide Strikers mascot, Smash!

This program is run during the last four weeks of Term 3 and first two weeks of Term 4 each year and has previously had approximately over 300 schools and over 40,000 kids each year experience cricket as part of this program.

MILO T20 Blast Schools Cup

The MILO T20 Blast School Cup is a fun and safe one-day carnival for girls and boys in Years 6 & 7. MILO T20 Blast School Cups give children the chance to play games of T20 in a round-robin format that focuses on developing qualities such as teamwork and leadership in an inclusive learning environment.

MILO T20 Blast School Cups run for approximately four hours, during which time teams of eight players play four games. These games ensure everyone is part of the action having a chance to bat, bowl, field and wicket keep for an equal amount of time.

MILO T20 Blast School Cups are held at various locations across SA, and every primary school is invited to participate. There is no cost involved to participate in a MILO T20 Blast School Cup.
