SACA coordinates many programs across the state including senior and junior cricket in conjunction with Cricket Australia, with the aim of ensuring cricket remains Australia’s most popular sport.
The 'Backyard to Baggy Green' player pathway starts at the MILO in2CRICKET level, introducing kids from as young as 5-8 years old to the basic fundamentals and rules of the game. The pathway then progresses to the slightly more advanced MILO T20 Blast national program designed for 7-12 year olds, followed by junior community crickets played out at local clubs and associations.
