A Sport for All
Disability does not prevent people from being involved with cricket. People with a variety of disabilities play and enjoy the sport, which can be modified to suit different physical limitations.
From the rattling ball of blind cricket, to specific competitions for people with intellectual disabilities and table cricket for people with limited mobility, cricket is a sport for all.
The South Australian Cricket Association links with some of the leading disability organisations in South Australia to provide a range of opportunities for players with disabilities. We are committed to providing accessible options for all players. Current options include physical disability cricket (wheelchair cricket), blind cricket, cricket for people with intellectual disabilities, and entry level programs for children with various diabilities.
To discuss opportunities, please contact the Community Engagement department at the South Australian Cricket Association.
