With diversity and inclusion both key priorities of both the SACA's and Cricket Australia's strategic plans, helping make cricket more welcoming and inclusive at all levels, in particular at a grassroots level across clubs, schools, indoor centres and other channels of program delivery has never been more important.
The ways in which both organisations are striving to achieve this is by:
- Ensuring cricket's participants and administrators at all levels have zero tolerance for any forms of discrimination.
- Engaging effectively with diverse participants and communities.
- Ensuring that cricket is 'A Sport For All' is vital in maintaining the game's status as Australia's favourite sport.
