To support clubs in becoming more inclusive, Australian cricket has developed the A Sport For All initiative. Clubs and associations can access free training for administrators and volunteers, run by trained presenters, and can also access resources to help attract more participants.
The A Sport For All website provides information on developing a workshop, a comprehensive resource guide for download and case studies to demonstrate issues that clubs or associations may face.
With diversity and inclusion both key priorities of both SACA's and Cricket Australia's strategic plans, helping make cricket more welcoming and inclusive at all levels has never been more important. Both organisations are striving to achieve this is by:
- Ensuring cricket participants and administrators at all levels have zero tolerance for any form of discrimination.
- Engaging effectively with diverse participants and communities.
- Ensuring that cricket is A Sport For All, which is vital in maintaining the game's status as Australia's favourite sport.
