Senior Country Cricket Carnival
Bank SA Senior Country Cricket Carnival
The SACA and Bank SA are proud to host the 85th Bank SA Country Cricket Carnival to be held at various SACA Grade cricket locations around Adelaide, beginning on the 8th February and concluding on the 11th of February, 2010. This carnival presents all senior country cricketers the opportunity to test their skills against the finest talent from all parts of South Australia whilst engaging in social activities with other participants, ranging from new players through to the many previous acquaintances. Each game is played on the pristine facilities maintained by the 13 SACA Grade cricket clubs within the Adelaide metropolitan area or the SACA itself, which gives all players the perfect opportunity to ‘demonstrate their flair’ on the same turf that many of our first-class players use on a Saturday.
Each match is scheduled to run for 50 overs (one day), with two pools of four teams playing a round-robin format with finals played on the fourth day. Each match is scheduled to start at 10:00am pending extreme weather and the condition of each ground.
