Country cricket

SACA is committed to developing cricket in country South Australia and has a number of programs which enable players at all levels and ages to play the game, no matter where they might be in the state. SACA country cricket programs include:

  • BankSA Under 14 Country Cup
  • BankSA Under 16 Country Cup
  • BankSA Camp held in September school holidays
  • Outback Flyers, a program aimed at aspiring cricketers under 15
  • BankSA Senior Country Carnival held in Adelaide in February
  • SA Outbacks South Australia’s country team

Gear Up Program

In season 2010-11, SACA is offering a cricket equipment funding scheme for schools and clubs. The “Gear Up” funding program provides schools and clubs with the opportunity to supply cricket kits for new teams and/or upgrade cricket kits for existing teams.
