2012 Annual Elections for the Board of Management

In accordance with SACA's Constitution, nominations for the positions on the SACA Board of Management are now open, each for a term of four years commencing on the date of the Annual General Meeting of the Association to be held on 27 September 2012.

Three vacancies will be created by the retirement of John Bannon, Robert Hill-Smith and Andrew Sincock. In accordance with SACA's Constitution all retiring members of the Board of Management are eligible for re-election.

Nominations must be in writing with forms available form SACA's temporary offices at 22 Greenhill Road, Wayville.

In accordance with SACA’s Constitution, each nominee must be a Full Member or a Country Member of the SACA, and must be nominated by two members with voting rights (i.e. a member who is a Full Member, Country Member, Honorary Life Member, Life Member or a member of a Committee of Management of the SACA). The nomination form must contain the candidate’s signed consent to the nomination and must also be signed by the proposer and seconder.

Should more than the required number of candidates be nominated to fill the vacancies, an election by ballot will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the Association.
